Notifications

You can configure notifications for users about changes in an article.

Configuring notifications

Notification settings are configured separately for each article in the application.

  1. Open the article’s notification settings. In the article menu, select Notification settings.

  2. Specify the notification delivery conditions:

    1. When to send notifications.

    2. Which groups or users to send them to.

  3. Merge the changes into the main catalog branch specified in the catalog settings.

Receiving notifications on the reading portal

After merging the changes into the main branch, recipients will see notifications on the home page of the documentation portal:

  • In the news feed. The user can:

    • Open the notification.

    • Go to the article by clicking on the notification.

    • Mark the notification as read.

    • Click the Mark all as read button. This button is displayed only if there are unread notifications.

  • In the bottom‑right corner. The notification includes the article title and a brief excerpt from the updated text.
