Search Queries
Statistics on user search queries.
Includes:
Number of searches.
Number of unique users per query.
CTR (Click-Through Rate) — ratio of clicks on search results to total searches, showing how often users follow results.
Most popular article clicked for a given query.
Refinement share — whether the user ran a repeated query to refine results.
Counted:
Recorded when a user enters a search query.
Why to track:
Evaluate search quality and how well results match user expectations.
Analyze user interests and needs based on top queries.
Detect queries with low CTR that may indicate irrelevant results or weak article titles.
Article Ranking Analysis
Statistics for articles users open from search.
Includes:
Most popular article for a specific search query.
Average clicked position for a given query.
Number of clicks on the article from search.
CTR — ratio of clicks on search results to total searches. Shows how often users follow results after entering a query.
Counted:
Recorded when a user clicks an article or catalog from search results.
Why to track:
Understand which queries bring users in and what content they expect.
Assess article relevance to a query using CTR and click count.
Find queries with impressions but low CTR as targets for improving articles or snippets.
Prioritize articles for updates and development.
