Sign-in for External Users

Mail server setup is required if your documentation portal is used by both company employees and external users. The mail server sends a one-time code to the reader's email, which they use to sign in and view directories.

Requirements

Gramax does not provide an SMTP server - you must deploy and configure it yourself.

  • Mailbox used for outgoing emails (for example, no-reply@yourdomain.com).

  • SMTP access from your mail provider/hosting (or corporate mail service).

Setup

Open Gramax Enterprise Server admin panel and go to Mail server tab.

  1. Set sender address - the value shown in the "From" field.

  2. Set SMTP server address of your provider.

  3. Set SMTP port (for example, 587).

  4. Set SMTP login (full mailbox email) and password.
