Both the Gramax application and the documentation portal offer fast search functionality, enabling you to search within a single catalog or across all catalogs in a space. All searches are conducted locally on your device.

Key Search Capabilities:

  • Partial Word Search: Finds matches for segments of words.

  • Transliteration and Keyboard Layout Recognition: Recognizes searches with transliterated or incorrectly typed characters.

  • Exact Match: For exact phrase searches, enclose terms in quotation marks, e.g., "word phrase" to find identical matches only.

  • Exclusion from Search: Exclude specific words or phrases using -word or -"phrase".

  • Misspellings: The search is effective even with minor typos at the beginning or end of a word, though mid-word errors may slightly reduce accuracy.

  • Word Order in Preview: In search previews, words appear in the order they are found within the article. The preview may not display the search term, but its presence in the article is assured if it appears in the results.

  • Result Sorting: Results are sorted by the number of times the search terms appear in the article. A count of occurrences is displayed to the right.
