Image Compression
An image inserted into an article as is can weigh several megabytes and bloat the catalog. The Compress images toggle in the Main settings section automatically shrinks every new picture.
How It Works
Compression kicks in when an image is added to an article — pasted from the clipboard, dragged in, or uploaded as a file: the image is encoded into WEBP. Images already added earlier aren't touched — compression only applies to new ones.
