Desktop Version

In the desktop version, all files are stored in folders on your computer. You can access and edit them using Gramax or any text editor. The desktop version can be downloaded from gram.ax. An earlier version for the platform you need can be downloaded from the update server's downloads page — it lists every version of the selected channel.

If the desktop app is installed, a link to an article can open directly in it instead of the browser — for that, the browser needs permission to open apps on the device for that site.

If the permission is off, the article always opens in the browser, even with the app installed.

To turn on the permission:

  1. Open Gramax in the browser.

  2. Click the icon to the left of the browser's address bar.

  3. Turn on the Apps on device toggle.
